Inside My Pencil Case

A look inside everything currently inside my pencil case.

Our beloved pencil cases. Where would we be without them? I try my best to clean out and reorganize the items kept inside of mine ever so often. It's too easy to stuff random items inside of it, and before you know it, it's a mess and filled to the brim. I really don't keep the most exciting items in my case. For me it's more about functionality and what I may need to use while I am out and about, or in a bind. Well, I've recently reorganized my items in here so its a perfect time for an accurate review. Let's take a closer look at some of my essentials.

Let's start with the markers. To clarify, I do not keep any of my fountain pens inside of my pencil case. My Galen Leather A5 Zip Folio is where they call home. I will be sure to create a detailed post about them at a later date.

From Left to Right starting from the top:

Zebra Mildliner Double Ended Double Point Highlighters. I usually purchase these directly from Jetpens.com. So many uses for these! I use them in my planner systems, journaling, at work, to highlight in the books I'm reading. They seemingly have every color you can possibly need. My current colors are - Cool Grey, Copper, Olive, Beige, Cream, Gold, Coral Pink, Apricot and Blue Green.

Bottom:

My forever love of Sharpies. I don't think they have ever not been part of my daily mix. I keep a regular and fine point marker with me at all times.

I have just two Pigma Micron pens at the moment, the #08 and #03. Typically, I'll keep three different sizes in here, but my third soldier needs to be replacements. The #08 writes a 0.50mm line, while they #03 writes a 0.35mm line.

I have one lonely little Tombow Calligraphy pen. I know these are very popular amongst many and I've definitely been wanting to explore them more. I'll get around to purchasing more of these to try this year. For now, I have the Fudenosuke Brush Pen - Double Sided in Black / Gray.

Last but not least, perhaps my favorite ballpoint pen ever! The TUL Needle Point Fine Tip in blue.

I keep an array of miscellaneous items in my case. I always keep a small selection of binder and paper clips handy, as I'm constantly using and removing them from my planner. The stamp is the date and weather one from Midori, which I purchased on Jetpens. I use this exclusively for my Hobonichi 5 Year Techo. You'll always find two - three ink cartridge boxes for my Pilot Kakuno (F nib) and Sailor Pro Gear Slim (MF nib) fountain pens. These are my go to FP's I use in my Hobonichi Weeks. Cute pink tweezers, that I use to position decor such as stickers and washi. A basic dry line whiteout from Papermate and a sturdy eraser.

A far cry from the size of my actual washi collection, I do opt to keep a small collection of colors in bag in the event I need to use one while I am not at my desk. Doesn't usually happen, but I am always glad to have them around on the rare occasion that it does. As well as the pictured selection of transparent post it tabs that I purchased directly on Amazon. I use these for absolutely everything. I'm constantly reaching for these for one thing or another.

Last but not least, my pencil case itself! Nothing fancy, but she's cute and compact. But most importantly she packs in way more than meets the eye. Everything mentioned in this post easily fits inside, with room to spare! She's the Cicimelon Large Capacity Pencilcase and can be purchased here for the steal of just $11!
